Senior User Experience Architect
Job Purpose
The Sr. User Experience Architect works collaboratively with fellow members of our existing User Experience team to discover user requirements, and then to conceptualize, design and prototype solution ideas. This position partners with and inspires members of Product Management, Software Development and Quality Engineering to develop best-in-class products. Ensures client satisfaction with open communication, and by gathering client and end-user feedback through field study sessions, usability tests, surveys, and other appropriate methods.
Responsibilities:
o Lead and/or participate in projects, providing User Experience services, which include:
o Gathering user data through field studies, surveys, usability tests, etc.
o Analyzing user data to formulate user requirements to inform both product strategy and tactical product enhancements.
o Developing conceptual designs and prototypes to illustrate user requirements.
o Validating designs and prototypes through usability tests and client feedback sessions.
o Ensure that user requirements are incorporated with overall product strategy, business requirements, and each product's aesthetic, functional and workflow requirements.
o Manage client relationships as part of User Experience engagements.
o Evangelize user-centered design process to executive stakeholders, educate development teams new to UCD methodology
o Mentor junior UX team members
o Perform heuristic reviews to ensure product designs meet usability standards and our UI standards.
o Continually improve the User Experience development processes by:
o Remaining up-to-date with industry standards, best practices, and innovative technologies.
o Maintaining expert knowledge of User Experience methodologies, tools and techniques.

Qualifications:
Education:
Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Industrial Design, Psychology, Technical Communication, Library Science, Sociology, Anthropology, or related area is preferred. Equivalent work experience can be substituted.
Job Related
Experience:
o 7
years experience with User-Centered Design practices and usability standards.
o 7
Experience with banking and financial services.
o Experience leading UCD projects, either independently or leading a team.
o Strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools and technologies.
o Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Some Travel is required.
