Senior Financial Analyst (Hybrid Remote)

Opportunity at a Glance Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), the Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in our financial reporting & planning processes, providing in-depth analysis to the FP&A team and other internal teams, thereby helping to identify opportunities for profit improvement. This is an excellent opportunity to partner with leaders and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Actively participate in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities:
Process necessary journal entries and accrual transactions. Analyze functional spending trends and identify the primary drivers of the variance to forecast, plan and prior periods. Provide proactive insightful financial analytic business support:
Assist with the development of the annual plan and monthly forecasts. Complete analysis of monthly results, including variance explanations against plan, forecast and prior year. Assist with the financial metrics monthly results reporting. Perform the Capital planning process in collaboration with the Product teams by booking all capitalized project labor costs on a monthly basis and tracking progress for budgeted capital projects versus actuals results. Track key performance indicators and analyze cost of sales, operating expenses and capital expenditures (includes developing financial models and decision-making tools). Provide financial support for function leaders. Assist the FP&A team as needed with leadership presentations. Conduct special analyses, assuming responsibilities for the quality and effectiveness of the studies/ analyses. Drive continuous process improvement leveraging best practices, standardization and automation to enhance the efficiency of the planning and reporting processes. Strong financial acumen with demonstrated analytical ability accompanied by knowledge of the P&L, and balance sheet. Works collaboratively with other functional areas (e.g. accounting, marketing, sales, operations, product management, technology to assist with enhancing business processes, internal controls and reporting. Self-start with the ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities and perform job responsibilities accurately while working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to deliver timely and quality results with a focus on accuracy and integrity of the data. Approaches responsibilities with intellectual curiosity and creativity to analyze the business and assess current/future opportunities and risks. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with his/her scope of responsibilities. Ability to be forward thinking and proactive in identifying business issues and opportunities. Ability to organize and analyze large volumes of data, perform data reconciliation and summarize for executive review. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact and partner within all levels of the organization. Effective verbal and written communication; must have the ability to concisely and effectively communicate with key constituents. Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills Bachelor's degree required in Finance or related field; MBA preferred. 5 to 8 years financial planning & analysis experience required. Must demonstrate strong analytical skills and understand financial concepts intimately and be able to teach them to others. Must understand accounting concepts and know how to research actual versus expected results. Strong analytic capability and propensity for continuous improvement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills. Self-motived and able to work independently. Sound knowledge of US GAAP. Strong problem solving skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. Familiarity with Salesforce and Longview Analysis & Reporting a plus. EEO We are proud to be an EEO employer M/F/D/V. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
