Service Desk Technician - Summer Opportunity!

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Service Desk Technician to join the IT department at our corporate office in Brookfield, WI for the summer months.
This is a paid position.

Experience:
Assist with Service Desk incidents in either resolving or escalating to other I.
T.
support staff Computer remote desktop support; adding programs or making configuration changes Create how to guides (FAQs) in Service Desk ticketing system Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers Help with moving computer and network equipment The Service Desk Technician primarily works independently, with coaching and support from the Infrastructure Manager.
The successful candidate must be available for work Monday - Friday, between the hours of 8 a.
m.
and 5 p.
m, 40 hours a week.
Requirements:
Service Desk experience is preferred Strong communication skills, written, verbal and personal Self-motivated and ability to work independently on defined tasks as needed Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting skills Ability to prioritize and multitask Learn what it's like to work internally at QPS and how we provide positive experiences with everyone we interact with through our company's Six Core Beliefs:
