Actuarial Analyst - Financial Analysis (Must reside in Wisconsin)

Network Health is seeking a Actuary - Financial Analysis.
The Actuary - Financial Analysis is the lead actuarial resource for financial/management reporting and experience analysis for Network Health.
Product line support will include Commercial Group, Medicare Advantage, ACA Individual and Stop Loss lines.
This position supports the Actuarial Services Department with key accountabilities of leading monthly financial reporting of medical cost trends, enforce book of business metrics, actual versus budget variance reporting, ad-hoc experience studies and related analytics/reporting.
Essential Job Duties:
Accountable for financial/management reporting and experience analysis.
Achieves organizational financial and strategic goals by working proactively and collaboratively with Claims, Medical Management, Risk Management, Finance, Sales and other internal departments.
Leads the Actuarial Department in monthly financial reporting including actual versus budget results, in force book of business metrics, medical cost trend studies, packaging of results for senior leaders and board of director communication and annual refresh of Network Health reporting/tracking metrics.
Monitor, evaluate and respond to emerging issues/trends in the insurance, regulatory, or legal climates.
Apply appropriate program changes needed for market transformation to product and regulatory filings.
Complete all assigned actuarial analyses on time and in accordance with Actuarial Standards of Practice and ensure appropriate documentation of work product.
Appropriately apply all organizational, regulatory, and professional standards of practice.
Responsible for coordinating and aligning the product line projections for annual budgets and reforecasts.
Serves as the key liaison with Finance with regards to packaging financial projections and assumptions.
Ensures that product line projections are reasonable with regard to actual to projected periods and highlights area of improvement/refinement to Actuarial leaders.
Supports Network Health capital planning via quarterly actuarial projections and assumptions by legal entity.
Conducts oneself in a manner which promotes quality and service excellence for clients, members, physicians, staff and the community and contributes to and upholds the mission statements of Network Health.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:
Strong financial reporting competencies including holistic understanding of health insurance valuation, experience analysis and financial/management reporting.
Ability to analyze experience trends and develop improvement plans necessary to meet corporate growth and profitability measures.
Intermediate Excel skills required, advanced preferred; Intermediate Word skills required SAS and SQL preferred but not required Network Health is an Affirmative Action & Equal Opportunity Employer.
