Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents - Maintain and organize physical and electronic files using document management systems - Answer phone calls and take messages with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette - Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings for attorneys - Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness - Conduct research as directed by attorneys - Prepare correspondence and draft emails - Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning - Transcribe dictations and prepare legal documents from audio recordings - Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed Requirements:
- Experience as a secretary or assistant - Proficient in using document management - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in proofreading and document preparation - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information - High level of professionalism and discretion Job Type:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
