Data Entry Clerk - Junior $10/hr 2 month contract Brookfield, WI

Job Description: Hours: 8-5

This position involves straight data entry. The candidate will be changing numerical data on spreadsheets. If you have test scores please provide. Assignment has the possibility of being extended by and extra month to be a total of 3 months.

The HM would need 2 candidates to start as soon as possible so I will be giving priority to anyone that is already back check ready.


Summary: Responsible for operating data entry devices, such as a keyboard or computer, to verify and input data.

Education/Experience. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Entry level to 2 years related experience required

Skills and Competencies: attention to detail, ability to work independently and manage one's time and ability to accurately document and record customer/client information. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Major Job Duties and
Responsibilities: enter numerical data in specific data fields using keyboards. Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered. Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors. Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors. Maintain logs of activities and completed work. Perform other duties as assigned

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
